About

My name is Sean Stimac.  I am a 24 year old Art and Design student at Northern Michigan University.  My area of concentration is photography, but I am also fairly proficient with design programs like Illustrator and InDesign, I also paint and produce some sculptural pieces.

I’m slated to graduate in May of 2009, with a BFA in Art and Design.  I’m debating on what the best plan would be when I graduate.  Should I head straight to Graduate School to pursue an MFA in Art and Design so I can teach in the future, should I attempt to find a job in commercial photography, or should I enroll in another university to wrap up my Art History degree?  I’m just not sure at this point what the best decision would be.  I’m leaning towards going more school.  I think it’s feasible to finish the Art History BA at the same university I’ll attend for my MFA.  The major deciding factor will be the affect it has on my family, my daughter is due in a few months.

Art is what drives me.  Creating art is what I have to do, I could not settle for anything less.
